Bobby Grace Putters

Handmade putters are how Bobby Grace originally saw success on the PGA Tour. In late 1991, Bobby milled his first prototypes and saw the likes of Arnold Palmer, Scott Simpson, Payne Stewart, Dennis Watson, and other famous Tour Players put them into play on tour immediately. In the following years, Bobby Grace "handmades" would be victorious all around the globe on every major TOUR.

Bobby Grace Putters Handmade Collection consists of special putters that are milled, welded, hand shaped, hand stamped and finally finished to a high gloss perfection by a Master Gunsmith. All of the work is done locally here in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Our custom handmade putters are very time consuming, usually taking 10-15 hours each from start to finish. Many various shapes and styles are experimented with while making early models and prototypes. Once we achieve the right look with the right hosel and offset, typically many versions of the original will begin to surface on the tour. New for springtime on the green Bobby Grace is introducing the 2012 Handmade Artist Series putters with Damascus Steel inserts. (Click here for a video on how Damascus Steel is made.) This is the very first time anyone has ever machined Damascus steel for a radial face insert. Milled from solid blocks of 303 soft stainless steel on our Hurco milling machines, this Artist Series Putter is unique with its custom welded on hosels. Sporting solid grooves milled right into the steel insert to create immediate overspin, we then acid etches the metal to make the pattern come alive. Having all of our products made and handcrafted in the USA, our Damascus forged steel is made for us in Alabama and then milled to precision at our Tour Shop in Florida. Sparing no expense, your Artist Series Damascus Putter is finished off with an engraved 'anvil and hammer' logo which is a reminder of the painstaking work that is required to forge this Damascus Steel.
