Statement of Purpose
Putters are the most frequently utilized club in any golfer’s arsenal of equipment! Throughout the technological revolution in golf equipment (mid 1980’s to present day), the Wood and Iron categories have constantly pursued the improvement of forgiveness in their designs. Along the way, OEM’s have consistently promoted new technologies that they claim will make the game of golf easier and more fun.
During this period of “innovation” the average USGA handicap has remained virtually unchanged!
Putters on the other hand have tended to be a “copycat” equipment category that has focused more on aesthetics than improved performance. Although there have been some notable head design enhancements over the years (e.g. heel-toe weighting, face inserts and MOI – a.k.a. moment of inertia), a majority of today’s putter designs remain very similar to models that were created over thirty years ago. Just a 10% improvement in putting performance would lower a golfers score 3-4 strokes per 18-hole round.
If a putter could deliver such an improvement it would result in the most significant decrease in the average USGA handicap in the history of golf.
The Bobby Grace Putter Company believes that now is the time to change the “forgiveness factor” in putter design. Through the utilization of proprietary and category changing technologies combined with innovative head designs, Bobby Grace Putters is committed to making its putter the more forgiving golf club.
Mission Statement
Bobby Grace Putter’s mission is to deliver golfers the best possible breakthrough technology and innovations to improve putter forgiveness and thus lower scores, all at a reasonable price. |
